MB-TEX QUESTION
I have a 2022 GLC 300 with MB-Tex AMG saddle brown interior, non ventilated seats. From what I read, you should only clean the seats with water and 1% soap..
It doesn't say anything about applying a treatment to the seats.
Has anyone safely used a treatment and what brand if so? The seats just seem a little "dull".
Or should I forget about it and just wipe them down as instructed and live with the look?

MB-Tex is plastic.
Vinyl.
It is impervious to liquid including water and “treatments”.
Use a cotton terry cloth dampened with plain tap water. Wipe the surface clean and admire the result.

Well like any vehicle surface whether paint, glass, leather, vinyl I thought that treating the MB-Tex with something would help preserve and protect it from degradation.
There are excellent treatments out there from numerous well known companies for vinyl and interiors.
Just wondering if anyone uses anything other than water and a cloth with good results.

Leather or vinyl whatever will be worn or torn at the end of life. 7~15 years.
We have choices.
1. cover it now, so you keep the original seat under the cover as new.
OR
2. Just use the original seat now, and cover it to hide when it start worn later
Seat covers are not expensive these days. $20 each.

Your call. It's not necessary. It's not specified by the manufacturer.
