GLC 250D 2019 Model
Hi I have a 2019 GLC250D a few weeks ago I went out for a drive & car just stopped dead. Rang RACV & they came to check car. Couldn’t get it started so had it towed to a local mechanic. He thought it was alternator, battery problems it was neither he had it for 4 weeks with no answers It starts when you first start it but no guarantee it will keep running It’s at Mercedes Benz service waiting for them to open up after Xmas holidays Has anyone had any problems like this & if so what was the conclusion. Only thing it does when it stops is there is a clicking noise in a section under the bonnet close to the windscreeen Any Help would be appreciated

You would need to provide more information on what went dead and how it went dead. An MB scan tool reader would read out fault codes to troubleshoot, etc, which the dealer will look through anyway I assume.
I follow Eurostar Diesels in Hallam and Sunshine on FB, and have taken my car to them once for an AC service. I’d recommend them as Benz diesel specialists generally in Melbourne.
