I pressed the gas while on drive and reverse holding the brakes and I could see the motor flex up down on the side.
Also the moment it is on drive or reverse there is some vibrations up front but none on the steering wheel.

Yes, my vehicle was serviced for that gas leak on the high pressure side that most mb have especially when it is really cold outside. Lucky it was still under warranty. Anyhow that's when they noticed my mounts are collapsed. As I press on the gas I see the sides of the engine go up and down. I think it is time to avoid issues like you said. If I wait for knocking noise and major cabin vibrations I'll end up having to fix way more as a consequence.
