Rear Camera software update

Your dealer maybe don't have licence and only try to make you go away.
In my case, I never had an issue with my old car wash vendor (which didn't offer detail-drying air jets). It's only arisen with my new car wash vendor with the added drying tool. My suspicion is that employing the detail-drying air jets near one of the cameras (my guess is the front camera) blows water into a loose connection temporarily shorting out the camera connectivity. After driving the 3 miles home and letting the car sit for a few hours, the camera system is back to normal. My guess is that the drive home and rest period drys the moisture in the connection and the system resets to normal.
And I've considered returning to my old car wash vendor but those detail-drying air jets are so good at drying around all the trim that I'd feel like I'm buying a substandard product by returning to the old vendor.
i'm awaiting a reply from the dealership but I can't say my hopes are high.
They too claimed they were not able to replicate the problem with the camera. Thankfully all of the issues were covered by my CarMax Warranty so all it cost me was the $50 deductible (for using a non-CarMax service provider).
As a further indictment of the dealership service department model, they failed to address three of the four issues I wanted resolved.
