DRL turned yellow

Hello,
My DRL turned yellow. Is it something that can be fixed or do I need to replace whole headlight?

Yellow DRL
Thank you!

That is strange, I thought it was the housing, didn't know it was the actual LED, I wonder if it is a defective light module? Is it only this side?

Here is where the module is located, though that thread is a sedan, it might still be in the same location : https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...light-mod.html

Light module to be specific, I mean the control light module, it is a chip.

Unfortunately you'll have to replace the headlight. White LEDs turning yellow happens when the phosphor coating degrades and changes color. It's non-reversable. It happens naturally or due to too much heat exposure. UV radiation can also cause it. White LEDs naturally start to turn yellow over time due to natural degradation, but this is a major degradation that you have. Your headlight might be faulty and things got too hot causing the phosphor coating to rapidly degrade.

That is worse than I thought, thanks for chiming in though. Was hoping it was a simple solution for OP.
