2018 GLC 300 4Matic
Question Needed maintenance?

I don't understand my dealer's language: Their annual inspection report on my 2018 GLC 300 4Matic (35k miles) says: 1) No items failed (Needs immediate attention,) 2) 8 items cautioned (may require attention,) and 3) 26 items passed (No repairs required.) Recommended services: 1) Spark Plug Replacement - $422.50, 2) Replace brake fluid - $211.68, 3) Transmission Service -$828.98, 4) Rear Differential Service - $297.30, 5) Cabin Air Filter Replacement - $176.05, 6) Front Differential Re-Seal* - $2,846.62, 7) Rotate and Balance Tires - $69.95, 8) 4 Wheel Computer Alignment. *They showed me a video of the front axle area and something appears to be leaking, although I have never seen any drips under the car. They explain the high cost because replacing the seal "requires removal (of the) assembly and alignment, post repair." They also comment, "This cover on occasion needs to be re-sealed." This car has never needed anything other than basic A and B services for the 7 years I've owned it, and I'm surprised and confused by the services that, apparently, don't "need immediate attention," but are "recommended." Any thoughts/comments appreciated.

Dont do any of it, have it looked at by a normal dude. Most of this is like pretty unreasonable and 2x the price I would charge

Even at 35K but its 7 years old, tranny transfer case and diffs oil changes this is what I will do.

Brake fluid better to change every two years if you didn't do it its time. Some people never do this but by the book its every two years.

Cabin filter, i change it every year and dust filter under the hood every 6 months, but its me. No intervals all depends where you drive same for the engine filter

Spark plugs 35K kind of early I wouldn't do it unless there are miss fire codes stored. Miss fire counter doesn't trigger check engine light and car sound and drives ok.

Front diff reseal get a second opinion on this.

Dust filter at least by the book the one in the engine bay near the battery is every A service, the one under the glovebox is every B service.
