2017 GLC Tail light conversion from halogen tail light to led
I was wondering if anyone has gone through upgrading their tail light from the halogen/basic taillight to the full led one found on hid light glcs. Is it plug and play or does it need more involvement.

I dont know what Halogen taillight your referring to. If your referring to the front lights thats a different story. Please specify.

i appreciate your response. I am referring to the basic led tail lights that come with the halogen front ones. I would like to upgrade them to the tail lights that come with the Xenon headlights.

Here's the thing: The GLC with the Halogen front lights tail lamp assembly has an LED brake light. The GLC with the lighting package (Xenon) or full lighting package (2 front LED's) (usually on p3), has a different taillight assembly.

Oh, I follow now. The tail lamps for both versions are the same shape yes, but I believe it is very involved to change them. The halogen's have the non-led reverse lamp in the rear. The Xenon's have an LED reverse lamp in the back. To me, it looks more complicated than just plug-n-play. unless you wanna have it done professionally. Just my .02 here though.
