Made trans ground strap spark and car won’t start
my assistant looked underneath and noticed that the trans ground strap was loose I told him to tighten it and he said that it made some sparks.
starter at this point wouldn’t work so we replaced starter the engine cranks for only 1 or two seconds now and won’t start.
if we jump the starter relay after about ten time the engine starts and runs fine now check engine lights or anything.
we are dealing with a starting issues where do you recommend we start?
I thought maybe the crankshaft sensors wheel had gotten dirty so we removed the trans again but it seemed fine. We and at this point screwed. Any help would be appreciated

For the Mercedes-Benz Model 253 (GLC-Class), the K40/8kG relay is the Engine compartment circuit 15 relay. [1, 2] Location & Accessibility• Relay Location: It is located within the K40/8 Engine fuse and relay module.• Module Location: The K40/8 module itself is found in the main engine fuse box, which is located under the hood on the driver’s side (for left-hand drive vehicles).• Internal Placement: Relays J, K, L, M, and O (including the kG variant relay in similar modules) are often soldered directly onto the printed circuit board (PCB) inside the K40/8 housing. This means they are generally not "plug-and-play" and typically require the entire module to be replaced or professionally repaired if the relay fails. • Inspect the Module: The K40/8 module is the central unit within this box that holds several fuses and the internal PCB-mounted relays. [3, 4, 12, 13, 14] If you are experiencing electrical issues related to Circuit 15 (such as a "no start" or loss of ignition power), you may need to inspect the K40/8 Engine Fuse and Relay Module (OEM part A2059067200 for newer models).
