Hmmm.... Is it just me or the taillights were inspired by the X761 Jaguar F Pace facelift? It is just me, Right?
or the other way around, the Jaguar got inspired by the X253 pre-facelift...

https://car-images.bauersecure.com/p...ce_21my_07.jpg

In that case is it just me or the X254's taillight is basically the X253 pre-facelift taillight (as in similar/same shape) but unstacked and shorter and placed side by side each light strip. (sans the LED technology differences).

2024 GMC Canyon Denali..... 2018 Audi SQ5
Both designs were probably created long before hitting the streets. The last thing either brand would want is a copy of another’s light, IMO.

1. The 2022 is the same as the 2021 GLC, just a few minor changes. The totally new one is the 2023, which will be based on the new 2022 C-class.
2. I find the GLC quiet and smooth. Get the 19" wheels, not bigger ones, and get the acoustic glass. I've had MLs and GLEs, and the GLC is as smooth and quiet. Not as much as the E-class sedans I had, but this is an SUV.
3. Raise the seat and raise the steering wheel -- I have plenty of knee room.

Also @Wolfman can we get this thread renamed to X254 GLC News and Rumors since that is essentially what it has become?

Does anyone know if the PHEV will be coming to the US? If so, do we know what year?

It doesn't sound like MBUSA is very keen on bringing any of the plug in hybrids over.

FWIW, MBUSA announced that the refreshed 2024 GLE will be adding a plug-in hybrid version (23 kW battery) if you desire to move up a size.

https://media.mbusa.com/releases/rel...ow-even-better

Fingers crossed for a hybrid GLC or eventually the next generation EQC in the USA.

Thanks for that information. Could definitely consider going up to the GLE.

X254 (well, I guess I meant C254) GLC 43?

Edit: nevermind I got tricked by the title, it is clearly a GLC 300, sorry guys.

The 7 seater is released in Asia already, however it's called GLC-L

I hope we get it as 7 seater as well, the shorter GLB is already a 7 seater

GLC-L is market specific (ie China only) and extremely unlikely will come to the US market, just like other long wheel base models (A, C and E-Class).

Anyway, check out this video, beginning at around 5:00

Dang, that GLC has ventillated second row seats. That would be a cool option to have in other markets.

2023 GLC300 4matics listed on cargurus

I searched cargurus yesterday and discovered that there are a lot of listings for the 2023 GLC 4matic “crossover” in both Latham, Ny and California., among some other dealerships. Many say they are in transit, but list the price. Does this mean MB will be releasing these for sale soon. I’m waiting on mine to be delivered to the dealership from Brunswick. Any thoughts?

Pricing was announced a while back. With MB, it's really a huge question mark. They've had some releases recently, like the EQE and EQS SUVs where rpicing was announced shortly after production started and then just weeks later cars started whoeing up, and then we've had other models like the C Class and S Class where models were announced, pricing a few months later, and it was still months before the cars were released. The C W206 C Class started full production September 2021, pricing annoucned January 2022, and the model wasnt released until around April 2022. SOme cars sat at ports and processing centers for well over 6 months before release.

My GLC300 lands in Brunswick on the 8th and nobody knows when it will get delivered. I have extended my lease a number of time since the end of Dec. Last time I talked to MBFS I was told we have automatically extended your lease till the end of May and will do it again if necessary. Looks like MBFS has their act together but I can’t say that about the home office of MB.
