5000 mile road trip
Just returned from Florida and drove about 5k miles in total over a 2 month period. The GLC was trouble free, averaging about 27- 30 mpg highway using premium fuel. I did get a message alert saying that active brake assist was not available, this eventually went away by itself. On rare occasions there was steering wheel vibration without even encountering rough road surface. It seemed to occur perhaps when exiting a highway and decelerating, hard to say that any particular event would trigger the vibration. Got a faulty alert that vehicle was in an accident or hit, I was backing into a parking spot when it occurred and did not come close to another car. Seats were comfortable during long stretches of driving, car handles well, excellent braking and acceleration as well. On the trip home there was very loud brake squeal when first driving the car in the morning, it went away after the brakes were used a few times, however, it was real loud and unmercedes like. Overall ride was smooth and very pleased with the performance of the vehicle.

Sorry, this forum is for the New 2023 GLC X254 your car is a X253. So you posted in the wrong forum. That’s ok there have been others that have made the same mistake. Enjoy your ride.
