I have mine coming (should already be at port in US), but ordered it somewhere in August.

Agree, Long Beach VPC + trucking company take forever. My wife’s 2024 replacement for her old 2019 just showed up last Thursday at local dealer, even though cars were at the port in late October. Impressed by improvements, in and out, more comfortable and quieter ride, a ton of MBUX goodies, more responsive, welcome the spare wheel and the jack….

Few points from my experience: was following Hercules Leader from the time it left from Bremen. Ship arrived around 4:00 am on Sunday to the Long Beach port. Both our cars must have been on this ship. I was getting daily updates from my dealer, car was at VPC on Monday. Most of delay in my case was because of trucking company: they picked up car on Friday and it took them a week to bring it to dealer - Thursday of the next week ….
My suggestion is to ask dealer for screen shot with the current status. Not sure if you are aware, but you can take delivery at the Long Beach VPC. Hope this helps.
Good luck!

Just heard from my dealer that he checked yesterday and still no movement on my 2024 GLC. So this particular vehicle has supposedly been sitting at the port since Sept 30th waiting first for customs clearance and now for a software update. I will be very interested to see if the VIN number of "my" vehicle matches the one I was sent on October 5 as at this point I think there may be more going on behind the scenes than is being disclosed!

Sorry to hear about your trouble. Seems to me now is the time to have a serious conversation with dealership. Something does not seem right here. Car must be at VPC in Long Beach, not at the port. They need to provide screen shot showing the VIN and current status of your car, not some bogus sw update excuse. This will answer VIN concern you have.
Feel free to PM, can send you examples of updates from my dealer, or answer any questions you have. I’ve been through custom order delivery on dozens of BMWs, and lately MB….

I had a similar situation 2023 GLC sat at VPC on the east for quite some time maybe 2 months. Not certain but it has more to do with the trucking companies than anything else. Once it did get on a truck it of course arrived at the dealer quickly. The dealer does not have any power to expedite at the VPC in my view

Finally picked up mine today! It's going to take me awhile to get used to having an engine note again (i've been driving the GLC 350e for 3 years which is silent!) and to get used to the drop in torque (350e had 516 combined). Other than that it drives well and has decent pick up.

Congrats and glad to hear your long wait is over!
As far as engine note it is too quiet to me, but my wife likes it.
I prefer my E63 mighty V8 growl and loud pops …
