Hello,

i just got my 2024 GLC 300 coupe with R01 tires that are summer tires. I looked up how much it would cost to replace the tires at the dealer and it is about $2000. Any advice to get a more reasonably priced tires? Mine are the 20” multispoke tires.

Not sure if MY23 coupe is identical to MY24 coupe (Tirerack only has MY23 at the moment) but this is what Tireack has for you:

You do know your wheels are staggered, right? Your front wheels are more than 1" narrower than the rear wheels.

The Michelin CrossClimate2's are highly rated!

My wife’s X253 had 20” AMG multispoke wheels with stock pirellis; max performance summer tires that have no traction at close to freezing temp.
Replaced with Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 which is much better tire. Try Costco, Americas Tire, or TireRack for better price.

Unless you use dedicated winter tires, I would go for Cross Climates against the PS AS4 for winter traction. I have PS AS 4, great for dry/wet, but slides very good on ice on NYC shore in winter mornings. I have winter Alpin 5 tires and Cross Climates are closer to that in snow/ice. Cross Climate is all weather / all season tire with 3 peak mountain and snowflake (3PMSF) symbol to meet a snow traction requirement of a winter / snow tire. I got my winter tires from Costco as my GLB came with summer tires also. The problem is the winter / all weather tires-CrossClimate2 might be sold out.
