Ventilation Controls won’t set
I made an earlier post mentioning that when I started the AC with the touch screen immediately
after starting the car, the AC would turn itself off moments later. A second tap to start the AC
always works.
Since then I have noticed the same quirk with the ventilation fan and both temperature settings.
If I make a touch screen change moments after starting the car, the temps and/or fans revert
back to the original settings moments later. And again, making a second attempt sticks.
My work-around is to simply make no touch screen inputs until the car has been running for 20 or
30 seconds. My guess as to why this is happening is that the car is still booting up, even though
the touch screen looks normal. So, I do the wait, then tap the screen. Weird, but workable.
Perhaps the next firmware update will address the problem. 🤔
