Folding Mirrors don't always fold

Folding Mirrors don't always fold
Somehow the option to have the mirrors fold "on lock" gets reset..and I have to go into the vehicle settings menu and reset it for them to close... is there a different process required to have them close on vehicle lock that doesn't reset itself? Thanks.

This has been an issue since at least the 2016 Mercedes. Normally I've been able to reset the behavior back to normal by manually retracting and extending the mirrors while the engine is running. Have no idea why this bug hasn't been ironed out in 8 years.

Thanks, at least for now they are working. As a PP said, it appeared my mobile app was changing them, and I reset them thru the app and so far they are working properly.... who knows....
