how is reliability in 2025 coupe models and what engine to chose?
I am in love with new GLC since the 1st day it came out. Hovewer, I postponed buying it for my wife since I heard so many negative stories about reliability
Can you tell me how is situation these days, are 2025 models more reliable.
Also, what engine to chose, 300d or 300 gas? Since I am in Europe diesel is still popular so it does not really matter, i am targeting reliability primarily.

i drive mb for 12 years. currently s class, no issue.
she drives volvo xc40 and want glc.
i had brand new CLS which was lemon and i got rid of it after 1 year, it was dissaster, spent more time in service then with me, that is why i am always scared when buying MB.

2026 GLC300 4Matic (X254)
I have a 2025 - no mechanical or other break-downs yet. But its only been 6 months so I would hope not! Some stupid software decisions regarding MBUX and radio stations, but I had the dealer provide an update that fixed the main issue. GLC 300 with the 2.0 mild-hybrid set up. Good luck!

MB does not offer diesels in the US market so no advice for you on that.

2023 E 450 Sedan. 2018 GLC 300. 2013 E 350 Coupe (retired)
My wife has 2018 GLC 300. Purchased new. No problems besides new battery a few years ago. She drives 'sedately' under 30K miles. GLK before that. Also no problems.
