Is the GLC 350e limited to 7.6 kW AC charging speed? I purchased a Level 2 charger that is supposed to charge to 9.6kW speed (40A) but for some reason mine keeps maxing out at 7.6kW (32A). The settings of the charger are set to 40A but it's only pulling 32A as per the pictures attached below. I thought maybe I had a faulty charger so the seller shipped a second unit to me and I'm still having the same issue. I can't find the onboard charger settings on the vehicle settings app (does the car automatically select the best current option)? The electrician that installed the wiring for the charger said he put a 50A breaker and wiring that is suitable for 40A load so I'm not sure what is going on. Real time charging speed Amperage setting set to 40A Mercedes app confirming 7.6kW speed and not 9.6kW Charger Circuit breaker Wiring
I've tried this and still no luck. I bought my charger through amazon so it must not be 40A as advertised. It maxes out at 32A. The electrician used a 50A breaker and the wiring should be able to handle 40A so I dont think its related to that.
do you have any new finding?
mine is also being limited to 32A, (max 40A with my settings)
my EV is 2025 GLC350e in Canada
the same charger was able to charge a Tesla at almost ~40A.
Wonder if the charging speed handshake between EV and the charger was misconfigured during initiation?
