Hi X254 drivers! I notice that when I get in the car to start it, sometimes the brake pedal is very hard. To clarify, I mean, to start the car, you must press the brake pedal, then press the Start button. Occasionally, the brake pedal almost feels like it can't be pressed, it has almost zero "give." The car does start just fine though. Most times the brake pedal pushes down in the normal way that I am used to. I'm not concerned enough to go for service since it doesn't stop the car from starting. Has the hard brake pedal when car is OFF during starting process occurred with anyone else? 2025 GLC300 U.S. spec here. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. This is my first mild-hybrid so I wondered if it was related to that technology.Originally Posted by 404CPE
Normal, it's electromechanical.
