Shipping Time and Tracking
I just got an email from my SA that my build date has moved up to the end of this month. Once the car gets built how long does it take to get to the US. Also I bought a porsche macan when they were first produced and you could track the car on the ship moving across the ocean it was quite cool can you do that with MB ?

I tried tracking mine with Wallenius-Wilhelmsen and I couldn't.....it seems it came on another carrier. Build date to delivery date at dealer was just under 3 months here on the west coast of Canada. Car came from Halifax on a train.

Only your SA can see the status. I tried recently with my factory order but you can't with MB. For me, it was July 23 order date, it hit dealership on September 28. I am in DC, close to Baltimore terminal, so it was just one day for road carrier.

I ordered mid December 2024 and took delivery mid March 2025. So roughly 3 months from the date I ordered. I'm in Ontario so there was a week or two wait to have the car delivered to my dealership from wherever it was shipped to on the East coast of the US.

I suppose it depends on which allocation the dealership gets you. They must have turned in their builds already for existing allocations, and can acomodate you for next new allocations.

My car was built in October 2025 (not sure of date), and it arrived at my DC-area dealer in mid-November, via Baltimore terminal with truck to DC (less than 2 hour drive). Not long at all I think, coming from Germany. BMW SUVs are faster, being built in USA, but I can recall a time in COVID when GLCs were taking 3 months to get here. *Mine was not special order, it was dealer allocation that happened to be perfect for me.
