Screen Protector

Is there any benefit installing a screen protector on the touch screen ? Just curious if anybody has done this or if there are glare issues with sunlight on the touch screen.

I had one on MY23 with no issues either which was much bigger screen and positioned lower. I elected NOT to install on MY26 just because I didn’t fine any real benefit. I don’t have any kids in the car that might scratch or damage the screen. The glare wasn’t a problem with the OEM screen or the protector. Guess it boils down to preference. I use one on my phone but know a lot of people who don’t.

I have this on the

Spigen

protector on my touchscreen and this on

this one

behind the steering wheel. The Spigen one is very high quality and fits perfectly on the screen, I don't even notice it and it does seem to be more oleophobic and keeps the screen looking new and shiny. I don't think there is any great benefit to it, but at $40 it wasn't much of an investment and it is super easy to install. The other one took a bit more time to install and didn't fit as perfectly but again, it was a cheap investment and can't notice it's on there.
