Nice. I’ll probably either do Renntech or JB4 for my GLC43. Just not a lot of info/talk out there for modded GLC’s.

So, they are only offering it for S models?

that is some nonsense.

If you click through to the specifics it doesn't show "S" anywhere else other than the heading. I'm guessing the page has a mistake in the heading or isn't clear and the Renntech tune for the 63 covers both models...non-S and S.

They will work for both. I tried contacting Dinan because they have a piggyback version (No need to send ECU out) for the C63s. They said they currently dont have anything in development.

Too bad it doesn't work on 91 AKI / 95 RON, only 93 AKI / 97 RON fuel.
They say they can lower the settings for 91/95 tho

did click through and see that. But I also saw the emphasis on claiming the GLC is underrated and their numbers are off the realistic power.

Does that mean the 600hp version is off a 63s rated for 503hp but actually has 530hp. gaining 75hp to 600?

or does it mean the 600hp version is of a 63 rated for 479hp but actually has 505hp, gaining 95hp with the tune?

questions!

I just need 19s released already!

It looks like they are saying the 469 HP rated by Mercedes is actually 526 HP (based on their testing), and with their upgrade you go to 601 HP:

Rated by Mercedes-Benz (avg.): 469 HP @ 5,500-6,250rpm; 479 LB-FT @ 1,750-4,500rpm
Dyno measured by RENNtech (peak): 526 HP @ 6,250rpm; 532 LB-FT @ 4,600rpm

Rated by RENNtech (peak @crank): 601 HP @ 5,500rpm; 645 LB-FT @ 4,600rpm

Offered for all GLC 63 models. S and non-S. However, MB only released a non-S model of the GLC SUV. For the Coupe they have the non-S and S version of the GLC 63.
Our tune works with both models and the maximum power of the ECU Upgrade is the same for both models.

Exactly.
We did the development on 2 - 2018 GLC 63 AMG SUVs. Both with with same stock power (between all runs difference of +/-3whp).
Please note, our measurements are power at the peak, MB publishes an average during a 750rpm range. But there is still a significant difference and the cars are vastly underrated from the factory.

Do you have a guide to removing the ECU on the 2018/19 GLC63 SUV? Is this upgrade compatible with MY2019's?

Thanks,

John

On removing the ECU, we follow the instructions provided by Mercedes-Benz. There are no real shortcuts, removing time depends on a good/skilled technician.
Removing is very similar to the 205 - C63 AMG ECU.

Yes, also compatible with the 2019 Model-Year.

If I was able to get my hands on a C63 ECU would you guys be able to reflash the ECU to the GLC platform? Is it possible? I am looking for another so I dont have to send it back and forth when I need to take the car in for service.
