Just fitted the Race Chip module to my Glc 43amg

Always tune my cars and having brought the glc 43amg coupe from owning an A45 amg the 43 never felt as quick. Having ran the renntech stage 1 plug in module to avoid any warranty issues I thought I would do the same with the GLC but unfortunately renntech do not do one so having read up I decided to go the RaceChip as there demo car runs it so I felt pretty confident it was a good bit off kit.

Fitting was very easy and only 3 connections I felt the wiring harness could have been better but I tidy it up pretty well. I mounted the box to the right just above the headlight as you face the vehicle.

Once set up I took it for a spin and instantly felt the difference and seems to give that bit more at the top end off the Rev range don’t quite nail you to the seat but I’m going and have booked it in for some rolling road to see what it actually is pulling the. Race chip say 434bhp and 643nm but I’d say that’s pretty optimistic but dies pull well thou so jets see

gonna keep checking the cables and the box where I mounted make sure there’s no rubbing or burning from anything close as does get mega hot under there.

Need to have a little okay with the app as I believe you can up load new files via the blue tooth for fine tuning so lets see

I’ve been pretty happy with mine. Agree with the cable comment. Only issues I have is that the Bluetooth is hard to sync sometimes and the clamp at the module end has come apart during removal for dealer visit, had to ask Racechip to send me a new half as I lost it somewhere in engine bay. Would buy again though, definitely a noticeable power gain.

Yes I found the blue tooth hard to sync at first but just closed the app. I’m booked in for a dyno soon so be interesting to see what the figures.

Glc43 install

I have a racechip GTS Black that was in my ‘17 c43. I just got a ‘18 glc43. Same engine I believe. Wanting to install the racechip in the glc43 but I can’t find the manual. Mine only has two sensor connections. Anyone have the instructions for the glc and is my racechip compatible? I emailed racechip but haven’t heard back.

They have some installation videos on their website, have you looked at that yet?

Hey guys, I just picked up my first GLC 43 Coupe. Have already gotten a lot of great information from everyone here. My question is why Racechip over Jb4 when it comes to piggyback? As well, have you guys looked into the mostwantedmods modules. Most popular and most reviewed is the lowering module. He also has a exhaust valve mod that keeps valves open in all settings, even on the AMG performance exhaust (which my car has), and a tune. I have not seen much in reviews on the EVM and Tune. I have been emailing the guy. He is in Belarus I believe. Would love opinions. Thx

I would be very careful sending any money to Belarus, chances are, you won't see your product. Renntech has options as well, but they are pricey.
