Wont start, very intermittant
Had this happen only about 4-5 times in the last 12months. Very very intermittent fault. Car is in park, foot on brake, press the start button, car gives a click noise under the bonnet as though it was going to try and crank. Ive only had it happen after engine is at normal operating temp... Yesterday i had it happen twice in a row. Drove to the shops, parked, came back to start the car - wouldnt start, just a click. switched off ignition, tried again - same thing.. I got it to crank over on the third attempt. Its almost like a battery terminal is not secure, that sort of thing.. I checked battery terminals, nice and tight and clean. Its going to be a bugger to find this fault. The car can operate fault free for months.. Im starting to wonder if i have a dodgy battery..
