Been lurking on several forums and test driving a variety of vehicles over the last few months, landed on the GLC43 SUV. Got all my ducks lined up and headed to the local dealer to start with. Had my build all done and got down to a decent price. They had a changeable allotment and as we tried to get it built they couldn't save it with the 93R 20" multispoke black accent wheels. After some investigation I was told Mercedes didn't have any more 93R wheels as the demand was higher than expected/supplier problems. The local dealer could only chose 684 the 21" wheels with the summer performance tires in the build. I work in manufacturing so I can kind of understand this explanation.

I live in SC where our roads are craptastic plus spend time on gravel/dirt roads getting to trailheads for hiking/biking so I didn't even consider the 21" wheels, need that extra sidewall. After doing some reading about the 21" wheels and summer performance tires that suck in the winter and wear out fast I'm really not interested in that combo. Oh and the fact that there is no aftermarket exact size replacement in an all season variety doesn't help either.

Anyone else seeing/hearing this about the 93R 20" wheels?
