GLC 43/63 AMG 2019 NTG version
A few questions:
- Does anyone know if the 2019 comes with NTG 5.2 or 5.5? If it's 5.2, would there be an upgrade to 5.5?
- Does 5.5 come with a different user interface?
- What's new on 5.5?

2. Again, no change in interface.
3. See 2019 C-Class for specifics, but bigger screen, ACP/AA standard (I believe), and COMAND optional and will work with ACP/AA. GLC will get this in 2020 model year.

1. No change from the 2018 model for the GLC. Comes with NTG5/NTG5.5 COMAND APS
2. Again, no change in interface.

This is what you need to have Apple Car Play. I have not yet bought but I have spoken with them and it looks pretty easy to install for $439

i installed the 10.25" android screen recently w the usb carplay dongle. Most of my comments and impressions have been posted in the w205 forum but in summary the deal breaker for me is that there's no center control knob functionality w carplay and everythibg is through touchscreen. Having said that, the smartbox retains the center console control but I still have some reservations regarding sound quality. I've been in contact with the sellers but for $435+ it's a little steep to try. The install is simple, cant be harder than the 10.25" screen install. I could probably do this in less than 30 min. Note that with my android 10.25" screen and its carplay dongle, the sound was not quite as good as using the center console usb to play music.
