Replacement tyres for 21" in UK 43GLC
All.. Question for the UK folks with 21" tyres where the tyres were replaced by MB UK.. I had the front 2 replaced on my GLC43 almost 2 years ago by MBUK and now the time has come to replace them... however, if I remember correctly, they replaced Continental tyres with another set of Continentals which helped with crabbing reduced.. what have people replaced their tyres with.. my car just came back from service and the chap there told me that to get the tyres I have, it will be £630 per tyre.. not wanting to put these on at that expense.. so trying to find out what have people gone with?

Have a good look at your tyres, see if they are “star” marked and all the minor info. better still take them to a reputable tyre store, let them look at the tyres and see what they are, keep a note for yourself, and how much.
MB here in Oz were charging $770 for the same tyre that my local Goodyear dealer could source for $505.00
My guess is they fitted a Continental optimised for BMW and Rolls Royce cars, it was the ‘star’ marked tyre that was fitted.
Once you know exactly the brand, type and variant, that is currently fitted to your GLC, you can go online and shop around.
