2020 GLC63 ordering timeframe
I'm interested in ordering a 2020 GLC63. This will be my first time ordering a car and my first MB so please forgive my ignorance. I'm hoping to get some insight into ordering timing and logistics. Ideally I would place an order such that I would take delivery in Spring 2020, but I will order sooner if I must.
When will allocations for 2020 model year become available (perhaps this is still unknown)? Once ordering opens up/allocations become available, how long is the ordering window open? Is the timeframe of placing an ordering Nov 2019-Jan 2020 for delivery Spring 2021 reasonable? Will allocations still be available? There are three MB dealers in my metro area but I am not averse to ordering through an out-of-state dealership.

My understanding is that the ordering banks open in July, but I have not heard specifics from a dealer yet. You'll want to talk to a dealer (Steven @ Euro Germantown on here can help I think) on the specifics of timing and allocation. Last year, IIRC, people ordered in the summer through fall and received their cars around Thanksgiving. Ordering in January may be tight to receive a MY2020, but I could be wrong. The ordering guide is out so it is only a matter of time.
I'm hoping to order ASAP and get it ASAP. I just wish there were other wheel options for the SUV.

In the same boat. Looking for the new 2020. ust went into the dealer today. They couldn't even do a spec sheet for the car I want. Have to wait till Tuesday till the "ordering" person comes in to get more info.
