Engine inoperative on 2019 glc63
Has anyone experienced this before? I was pulling out of my driveway and then error came out on my dash saying “inoperative” in yellow, half the dash light errors came out. The car went into neutral instead of being on drive. Luckily I was coming up to a stop sign. I had to restart the car and the engine oil temp stayed at 32F on my entire commute to work(about 20 min). The auxiliary fan was on so it was loud in the cabin. Took it in to the dealership since it’s a block away from my work. Might be electrical problem but they have to keep the car for some time to see what’s going on. The car is only 1 month old and I have a little over 1000 miles on it

I have experienced it once at 1000 miles . Restarted the car and problem did not come back since then.
Now I have 2000 miles.
I will mention it to my MB dealer on mine next appointment in 2 weeks.

Yea, I restarted the car but the auto-start stop feature is disabled and engine oil temp stay at 32F. The dealer said usually the auxiliary fan turns on when the engine is super hot, like when u drive in the desert.

I had this issue happen to me, it actually died on me at the airport curbside pickup, my alternators were bad and my radiator was as well. They replaced both with warranty, thankfully I haven't tuned or modded yet. I was at exactly 1037 miles

Wow, I’m at 1063 miles. How long was your repair work? I was told my fix should be covered under warranty. My loaner is a glc300, it’s still a nice car but I rather have my 63 back.
