Body shop did. Mercedes wanted 180 bucks per hour times two. I paid $89 at the body shop.

For people wanting to did this as well, I have to warn you it’s not a direct replacement. The 63 flares are longer in the front. Three tabs don’t line up. The body shop had to cut the flares to the proper length and cut a couple tabs off. I’ll attach pics to show you guys when I’m back in town.

Are the rear fender flares a direct replacement on a 300? Can you provide part numbers for those please?

It does look great though with the 15mm spacer I put on the front of the car.

The correct part number for the GLC43 back fender flares are :
2538851301 and 2538851401 (left and right).

That's what I found.

I'm pretty sure he's just showing us that they aren't a direct fit, and what would need to be modified to make them fit the 43. You can see how the tabs don't line up, and the overall length needs to be trimmed. Looks easy enough to me, but I would imagine most here would need a small body shop bill to make them work.

Simply too much money for too little change. Will def keep this in mind in the future but not on the top of my "to do" list. Good luck with it and thanks for sharing pics and progression.

While I would agree I just couldn't get over the look of the front end how it was sunken in compared to the rear. Plus, I need more room to run bigger wheels and tires in the near future.

I can see but on thread #27 radride said " The body shop had to cut the flares to the proper length and cut a couple tabs off"
Did the shop cut the tab on the flares are made opening in the fender and that's more serious job .
Here is what I found on Kuzman website in Germany
If you look at the Hints ,they mention "2-piece set incl. adhesive strip on the back",
(probably a 3m double face tape)

Productdescription:

For a sporty appearance of your GLC X253 - the genuine fender flares from the GLC 63 AMG.

The fender flares for the GLC 63 AMG impress with their additional widening on the sides. The vehicle is thus much sportier and wider. In addition, the wheel arch extensions act as splash guard. For larger rims (20 inches upwards), this makes sense and the wide tire covers set the vehicle sporty in addition.

Hints
  • genuine Mercedes-Benz
  • 63 AMG optic
  • 2-piece set incl. adhesive strip on the back
  • wheel arch extensions can be exchanged with factory-fitted protective strips
installation note

If the fender flares are installed to the vehicle, 3 clips must be removed to secure the widening. At this point you also have to work with a 2-component adhesive or double-sided adhesive tape (not included in delivery). please note, you have to cut the fender flares for mounting.

Scope of delivery:

  • 2x feder flare
The double-sided adhesive tape required for mounting is located on the back of the wheel arch extensions. In addition, the wheel arch extensions are plugged. The dismantled protective strips can not be used after dismantling.

They just cut the tabs on the flares themselves. Applied double sided tape to that area. The flare itself is really only held on by double sided tape from the factory.

I cannot stand when things are held on with doubled sided tape as it screams cheap and more importantly temporary. Don't get me wrong this mod is clearly NOT cheap as I mentioned in my prior response and this is not a knock on you as it's your money so spend it as you see fit. Did you by chance ask the body shop to fashion some tabs or drill some holes for a more permanent fix option ? Anything that is going to get blasted with high speed rocks, dirt, snow, slush any environmental elements that's held on by double-sided tape is eventually going to come loose. For that kind of money and this mod I would have pressed them harder for a more permanent solution. Personally if you lower the vehicle and get some spacers the front end looks awesome. I get it though it's car guy OCD. If it bothers you you need to correct it otherwise it will drive you nuts every time you come out to your baby (lol). Nevertheless IMO lots of work for a minimal gain but I can't argue it does look good. If your happy that's all that matters dude. Good luck and again thanks for sharing with the forum.

Oh snap, I may place an order for them. Let me ask if there are any alterations that need to be done for the 43 models. Looks like the picture is a glc250 diesel with the new flares.

Reviving this thread from a while I know but I've bought some GLC 63 flares for my 2022 GLC 43 from AliExpress and fitted them on this past weekend. Was doubtful buying from there but the quality was quite decent.

Had to cut off something like 8 inches off the front of them since the facelift bumpers have side vents. You can tell they've been cut because the "bulge" starts lower on the 63 than the vents, but I don't actually mind. Now I need wider spacers to fill this additional gap
