4Matic Inoperative after Dyno Run

Hi,

I have. 2020 GLC 63s 69 plate
and I took it to DMS for a remap,
it was the first 2020 model with the opf that they had seen and were unable to access it via the ODB to upload the tubing file, so they said they would have to take the eco out and do it that way but this would take a day so they couldn’t do it there and then. However they did get it on the dyno and did all their ore tuning checks, it was put in dyno mode so all the electronic assists were disabled.

as soon as I got in the car and drove home I got the message “4matic inoperative” it went off after a while but each time I start it up and drive I get the message and the car just wheels spins in pretty much most gears when you floor it.

before I take it to Mercedes does anyone one have any ideas?

i was told by DMS that Mercedes won’t be able to detect anything as they haven’t modified the file as they couldn’t get in.

DMS are coming to my house wed to diagnostic it to see if they can sort it before I have to take it to Mercedes.

they have t had any probs on the pre 2020 models and this is the first time this has happened apparently.

any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

you should of done your home work. the 2020 model ecu is not like the 2019. The ecu has a secure lock that has not been DE-coded yet. It's going to tell on you when MB scans your ride. I would quit messing with it and let things play out before you completely kill your warranty. The vendors who do most MB ecu tunes can give you a heads up on what the progress is to cracking the 2020 lock down. Man up to MB get your ride fixed.
