2020 GLC43
anyone knows how to pull headlight switch

It rattles really bad on wife's 2020 GLC43 and I want to try and put some felt tape in there but I cannot figure out how to pull it. I think on older MB there was some secret combo to pull it out

I know I can take it to the dealer but I bet it will take them 4 days to fix it.

anyone else has rattles in 2020s? I do not think 65k+ car should have any if you ask me...

I've entirely given up on rattles, creaks, etc. A Chevy Trax is more quiet than any of the German cars I've had. Tough stuff.

wow even on e63?? I would not be a happy man. I drive 19 Charger Scat Pack and it is dead quiet inside, other than hearing all the noises my domestic beast makes

Had a 19' E63s which I traded in a few months ago for a 20' GLC 63. The E63s made more noises than I ever thought it would for a 125k+ car. I had it to the dealership many times for numerous ones. Sure, they fixed them, but... wtf??
My 20' GLC 63 is quiet, except for the leather seats rubbing and making a weird noise. (but I'll take that over the E63s' creaks, rattles, etc.
Oh I just remembered one other, in my 20' GLC 63 when going over rough bumps at the right angle there is a squeaking noise that sounds like it is coming from the suspension. I took it in and they told me it was the rear door latch being "dry as a bone" and lubricated it. I *thought* it was fixed, then it came back the next day.
Overall though, I am very very happy with the GLC over the E63s. Now of course the E63s was an absolute monster, not just quick, but fast. Just not worth it for me. Had to the dealership so many times for petty bull****.
Also, I like the front & rear end better of the GLC 63. Now if you look at the E63s from the side.. yeah it looks like a bad *** car.

it is funny you mentioned that as I actually know someone who traded 19 E63s after having it for less than a yeah - he had tons of mechanical and electronics issues. I am eyeing GLC63 myself, my wife's 43 just does not have all the drama and noise of V8 and then GLC63 looks so mean Very nice and refined car, has plenty of power for her, but every time I drive it, all these rattles drive me nuts. I will be taking it to a dealer and see if they can fix them.

Yeah like I said the E63s was a monster for what it was. I mean it destroys all kind of 2 door sports cars. Just not worth it for me. You will really enjoy a GLC 63. I sure do. As for the rattles, etc. The dealer will fix them, and it's under warranty. Might as well let them do it. They'll just put some sound proofing tape around it lol
