For those waiting on a build...
If you are waiting on a build (mine was scheduled in mid-April), see blurb from link below.

The German automaker that oversees the Mercedes-Benz brand said on Tuesday it will stop all production in Europe for at least two weeks. The automaker cited global supply chains that cannot operate at their full capacity and said the precaution is also meant to protect its workforce from the virus' spread.

is it me or I don't see Mercedes plant on this list?

/edit - I see you ordered from MB Pleasanton. I'm also from the east bay (Alameda).

Ask your dealer for a vin number. If it has a vin#, most likely production is completed. After the vin, check if it has a ship assigned, search the ship name and track it here https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais...ry:46.3/zoom:4

All factories had supply chain problems when China shut down for 2 months, this just totally kills it. So may as well wait 2 weeks for Chinese parts get back to usual flow. Even after 2 months China is only 70% up and running. Given that nobody seems to adhering to volunteer quarantine, I think the western world will be down for more the 2 months. I expect we will be out of this by July/Aug.
I'm not sure if it's fear mongering but from all the data I see from Italy and compare to US, I expect US (and to a smaller degree, Canada) will see the same fate as Italy.
On a brighter note, my GLC43 finally arrived for delivery next week, 1 month late. Although the delay isn't COVID related, just some dumb *** decided to shut down our train network in Canada for 3 weeks on some environmental protest.

Man, That Cardinal Red 43 is almost the same build as mine. Except I got all the drivers aids one can get and went without a hitch or the AMG drive unit.
We had to order the Red. It looks great with the black pack and black wheels and, well the wife said she wanted red. lol
Ours was supposed to be here in late may, early June. We will probably be waiting a while which is okay. Better that people are healthy and safe at the factory and here at the showroom.
I'll just have to make due with my 911 convertible.

NICE!! Other than youtube's glc63 in red, I haven't seen an owner with one yet...prob still early in the year for it. Share pics when you get yours.
I had to get the hitch because I do bike ride and I don't want to throw the bike inside the car. :-)

Maybe there is some light at the end of the tunnel. Daimler tentatively plans to reopen the Bremen plant on April 20.

My 43 was scheduled to be built the second 10 days of April (11th-20th), so guessing that means it'd be pushed back a month till mid-May'ish?

I had a build scheduled to arrive in March. Got there on time but sat in VPC Baltimore for weeks. Dealer ended up finding out that the VPC is closed indefinitely. Didn’t want to wait months for the vehicle so I drove to Ohio and picked up a similar build for a better price. Oddly worked out in my favor but there’s more than just the factory closures that people need to be considering.

Yikes, that's discouraging, since mine will come thru Baltimore too. Hopefully the port will be open by the time car gets here. I'm thinking it'll probably be June or later now, with the factory losing ~1 month of production.
How are you enjoying your new ride?

I got word that my build is scheduled to arrive at Long Beach on May 1st. Unknown if there will be any delays after the ships arrival. With all that's happening right now I'm not certain if I still want to take delivery. Financial situation could change if we're locked down for much longer.
