The kids running around the car with the bikes gave me anxiety.
On track days, the pad material thickness must be at least = to the backing plate. I also go for pads bed-in after installation.
This is for race pads, similar procedure for street pads but with less speed. You can skip to 12:45 for the actual procedure.

Thanks for that. I haven't paid a dealer to swap brakes in about 13 years so I'm pretty familiar overall.
My pad material was about tge same as the backing plate and I expected to trash it during the track event. This was definitely the worst i was willing to go, hence i skipped my last session. Next track day I'll definitely be running with good brakes.
