2020 GLC63 ECU reset?

2020 GLC63 ECU reset?
So when I picked up the 63 (coming from a 43) it felt like it was just so responsive and effortless. After 1500 miles it now feels a little slow and sluggish, even in s+. I tried both the ECU reset via the pedal (did nothing), and then I disconnected the battery for 45min as well. The clock on the dash reset, so it seems power was at least cut, but after the going for a drive it doesn't feel the slightest bit different (slow).
What am I doing wrong? Perhaps the ECU doesn't erase the data in 2020 models?

bumping up to see if anyone knows how to do this?
Local dealer said by creating a new profile (mbux...) it would do this. Tried that, didn't seem to change anything.
Surely has to be a way to do it?
