If I can ask, is there any actual functional benefit to the skirts? Asking, I don't know.

With me being shorter and in a northern state, I just see the back of my pants getting dirty in the winter when I get in/out of the car.

The running boards are annoying, if your tall enough and don’t need to use rubbing boards your ankles/legs hit the corner of the boards every time you set out,, these skirts are more flush and look way better, fits the car better

Hi did you need the OEW brackets given you had the original sidesteps?

yes you need to change the orginal brackets to accommodate the different side skirts
