No more V8 for next gen?

"As for powertrains, a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 will likely remain the base option. Above this is likely to be 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 replacing the current generation's V-6. Most, if not all, GLC variants will feature some form of electrification, including the next Mercedes-AMG GLC63 which could downsize to a 4-cylinder."

It will make things very confusing to call 4 cylinder (hybrid or whatnot) a 63. Why should MB be any different than the others I suppose with the illogical or non-traditional naming conventions.
Btw, I'm not interesting in an AMG 4 cylinder of any kind. I don't care how much HP; I don't care if it has rocket or nuclear assist. I'm currently dumping my Volvo's with the superturbo 4 cylinders. I want cars with real engines, real sound, real emotion.
Ironically, if some sad day we go full blown dystopian socialist, the green nerds and hippies will be some of the first to be "disappeared". Real totalitarian commie history shows little regard for environmental causes.
