Any former x5m or x6m owners here? If so any regrets moving to the GLC63?

can you compare the two in terms of ride and comfort and practicality?

thanks!

2017 GLC43
Not exactly what you're looking for, but I had a 2012 X5M and have moved to a 2017 GLC43 (not 63/S). The ride quality in the X5M was significantly better IMO. On the comfort setting the GLC43's ride is still quite firm but rolls more than I'd like. Sport and Sport+ are too firm for normal roads IMO. I'd say the solution is the comfort setting with thicker sway bars - I need to investigate if the GLC63's sways are thicker than the GLC43's and if it's worth a swap. I will also be lowering the GLC43 via programming ... hopefully that helps with roll a bit as well.

As for practicality, the GLC is clearly smaller, but I just took my fiancee and three teenagers on a 3-hour drive, and everyone was pretty comfortable. The trunk area is totally fine for everyday use but may be more of a challenge on road trips, camping, etc.

Hopefully that is at least mildly helpful.

GLC63 would be more similar in size to X3M or X4M than to X5M or X6M.

Yep, wrong comparison. I had the GLE63s before the GLC63s and they are completely different animals. The GLE is refined, powerful and the best road trip car I have ever had.

The GLC63s IS A SNOTTY NOSED LITTLE BROTHER THAT CAN KICK BIG BROTHER'S BUTT.

Right, the comparison is off.

But BMW sometimes may have better discount, maybe the price is similar enough that makes them "comparable". Like I know X3M is similar real price as GLC43. All the sudden, they are comparable, although it should be X3M vs GLC63.

Not sure if that is the case for Thread Starter?
