Just bought a 2020 glc63s almost fully loaded (PE!). Need help deciding on exhaust.
No pics yet. Winter and been pretty busy. Hopefully soon.
Looking at red star exhaust. Having trouble deciding between downpipes and the axleback they offer. Similar price, especially since I probably have to get catted and heat shield.
I've been told the downpipes will offer the best volume increase, with the added benefit of tuning later on. But I also read you have to take out the transmission to install these. Is any of this true?
If downpipes are louder, cheaper, and actually offer performance gains (with a tune), why would anyone get the axleback?
