GLC 63 SUV/Coupe with Widescreen

Does anyone know or have speculation on when they might update the GLC to use the widescreen dash similar to what they have in the GLE? It's curious that they did the setup they have now in the GLC series for 2021 as Mercedes seems to be consolidating on this widescreen design language. Saw a GLE coupe at the weekend with the widescreen, looks pretty futuristic

The year after or the same year the C class gets this is probably the best guess. It looks like they are going S Class style and not GLE style:

I can't stand the proposed redesign of the C class. That TV couldn't look more out of place than it does in the pics. I'm sure Tesla fan bois are happy to see it.

Yeah agreed, that C-class design is, errrr, not ideal. I was originally asking to see if it would be worth waiting for the facelift, but after seeing that I’ll press ahead with the 2021 😆

My wife has the 'widescreen' look in her new GLB. It looks good, but no matter what model, it is still 2 screens next to each other. I'm going to wait until I can see one or sit in one to pass judgement on the new layout; it could be awesome or it could totally stink.

Hopefully, never. But as someone else mentions, the GLC will probably go new C class dash.... I like the present layout and can't stand the GLE or new C Class layout. Looks like large iPads stuck all over the place and cheap, IMO. Just trying to follow the "Tesla" look and probably save money. Good luck with those touchscreens lasting more than 5-7 years and imagine the charge to fix/replace them.

On a positive note, they will probably be moving to 4cyl hybrids across the board... /sarc.
