New member here. I've had a 2017 C43 since it was new and just ordered a 2021 GLC43. My question is if Mercedes "Joyful Anticipation" is available in the US? If you aren't familiar, it's a program that allows you to track your build through Mercedes Me, presumably once a VIN is assigned. I think it may be a Germany or European thing only but thought I'd throw the question out there. I asked my dealer about it but they seem clueless.

Thanks

No, and I think they discontinued it over in Europe too.

I wonder why, it wouldve been such a great feature to have. Bmw has a pretty cool tracking feature that tells you the different stages of your order. I just got my VIN so hopefully not too much longer.

I don't know why they discontinued...likely cost related since so few people order versus buying off the lot. You said you got your VIN, how long ago did you order? My dealer says 3 months (US) but I'd heard horror stories about waiting 8 months. Just trying to figure out what to expect. Thanks

i placed my order last thanksgiving and got a slot just a few days later. I was told upfront delivery would be around May so the sales guy was very transparent.

You can bug your dealer and once it gets to port in Germany and assigned a boat you can track it via any of the many boat tracking websites. Then you can get frustrated by how long it takes for them to stop at every port between Germany and the US.
