Unlocking/Adding Apple CarPlay w/ Command Installed?

Company in UK provided fitting and kits. Two companies in Australia fit them and I think will ship with instructions for fitting, kits are from China I believe, but designed to work with Command.
There will be some outlets I assume in USA and Canada.
I think there are links still on this site to these aftermarket options.
I removed it because of the problems I had with it. Can't say anything bad about Road Top, they tried really hard to make it work.
The sound quality of phone calls were bad (software update/re-wire didn't work, next solution would have bin to install an external mice)
The wireless connection dropped many times and didn't reconnect. (tried software update, didn't help, maybe the phone I used)
If you open your car and not starting the engine right a way, the system will not connect. (normal system behavior)
While using CarPlay (for playing music), car navigation directions are not played. vise versa (normal system behavior)
The Volume was low, even in the highest settings, switching between Command and Carplay was always a surprise
(normal system behavior)Yes, this comes with a new screen, but the problems or behavior are similar and "normal" with all aftermarket systems.
Yes, all the control buttons command / steering wheel worked.
The installation is not to complicated, just taking the car apart is a little intimidating at first.
