The GKC 63 has no guard to protect the top of the bumper cover when loading or unloading cargo. I’ve found someon Amazon made of polished stainless. However if you have black optics, finding a black anodized one was difficult. ZIC Motorsports (USA) has them. Fast shipping. EZ DYI.
I didn't do it with my GLC 63, but when I had my wagon I got a clear bra put on and I had them add/create a strip on top of the rear bumper to solve this exact problem.

I guess it depends on the desired level of protection and the look you want, but I had the front clip of my GLC63 covered in PPF/Xpel, and also added top of the rear bumper. I accidentally tested it the other day , and after 30 minutes in the sun, the scuff was gone.
If you're loading and unloading a lot, have kids or pets climbing in or out the back, or something like that, I'm not sure PPF is a great option, but if you want to protect against the infrequent/random item dropping out of your bag, I like the PPF for it's obscurity
