MBUX: Not able to receive destination

MBUX: Not able to receive destination
Hi all
Fellow 2020 glc63s user from Sydney, Australia. From last 3-4 weeks my car's mbux is not receiving destinations sent from Mercedes Me app. First I thought it's once off thing and will resolve by itself in a week or two. But still the problem persists.
Couple of troubleshooting steps I tried:
1. Sending destination from Google maps or other apps where I was able to see share option to send in Mercedes me app
2. Logged off and logged back in the app
3. Reinstalled the app
4. Mercedes me was updated for Australia on Dec 20th 2021, so tried restoring to an older version but app stuck on the main screen asking app to be updated to latest version
5. Installed app on a different phone and logged in my account and then send the destination, still no success
6. Checked my mercedes me subscription, still have 2 years for this feature
Has anyone faced similar issue and any steps you took to resolve this. Please advise.

My 2022 GLC63S had been at Mercedes body repair for a week and when I got it back, I noticed I couldn't send/share a destination from Googlemaps to Mercedes Me.
No matter where the destination is, I get a "Location not found. The chosen location cannot be found. Please select another location." pop up message.
Google Maps app was updated 3 days ago.

Hey! Yep, issue was with MBUX software version of the car, which required to be updated.
Dealership kept it overnight for the update and post that car was able to receive destination from both, directly from Mercedes Me app or sharing from Google Map to Mercedes Me app and then to the car.
Did you check using Mercedes Me app directly and send destinations to the car to see if car is able to receive destination?

Turns out I can still share a destination from both Apple Map & Mercedes Me to the vehicle, so I suspect Google Maps is the culprit.... Are you still able to send a destination to the vehicle from Google Maps after the update 3 days ago?

So I'm ok when such things fail and I hope when I visit dealership next time they can somehow make them work or if I can find an alternate solution online.

I've kind of found peace with these in car systems. All have their pros and cons, it's just that how much these cons could make your life harder.

On a related topic, have any of you used What Three Words? It's supported by MBUX and it works really well when you're looking for a place that doesn't have a proper address.
