Interesting.

I'd be curious how this can impact the life of the engine, Trans, final drives. As this eats into the design margin, are components at significant risk of failure? Increased wear on turbos, trans parts, ...? There is always a fuse, where is it with these upgrades?

I am interested in this type of upgrade but not investigated the options, risks, or details yet.

Sure guys, throw those teasers at us, good incentive to save and burn some cash on mods. Im curious what kind of numbers we can expect with downpipes and some good intake on top of ecu tcu cpc tune ? Maybe you got some dyno plots for these simple bolt ons and full tune. I saw some nice build with E63s turbos, downpipes intake pushing 700whp , planning same build this year.

177 engine is overengineered and can hold 800+ bhp . tranny can hold around 800+ in a long term perspective, i keep an eye on reliability and limits for those cars and there are couple 2018 2019 MY builds here and there with those numbers running for 40-60k miles, frequently abused with pedal to the metal full banana mode driving and daily launching and have no issues so far. all that added stress isnt gna add to the lifespan but fun of pushing it a bit is priceless.
