8 months waiting for my GLC Coupe…. How much longer??
So upsetting… anyone also on the same situation?

I am from the US and ordered my car at the Manhattan store which is the only on in the US that is owned by Mercedes directly (at least that is what they told my husband)...
We ordered a GLC300C4 with a lot of optionals... maybe that's why its taking so long? They said it will probably be delivered in May but that chances are that it could be pushed out again. That is going to take my wait to almost a year, crazy!
Am I doing anything wrong?
I ordered mine in March 2020 and it came in Sept 2020 and I almost cancelled it.
if yours is 2022, maybe worth the wait or you cancel it and order when 2023 comes out, hopefully the interior would be like the new c-class which is nice.
My dealer (also a corporately owned dealer and not in NY) sent me a screenshot of the status page with these dates several times between my original order and when my car arrived at the dealer. When I ordered my car, the Original Prod Decade and Decade Planned had dates and they were the same. As time rolled on and supply chain issues ensued, the Decade Planned slipped ... once it was assigned a Production Date it was built (but that date slipped about a week) and then it sat on a shipping dock for a week before the Dealer ETA was filled it.
I am no expert, but it seems MAYBE your car is, in essence, back-ordered ... elaborating: it is my understanding that the dealer has to be allocated a car (in your case a GLC300C4) and only then does your order become activated ... until then, you are in complete limbo ... not even the Original Prod Decade will be filled in.
There are two Mercedes dealers in my town (one Corporate, one not) and I first went to the non-Corporate dealer and they didn't have an allocation but were happy to take my "back-order" and would call me once they got an allocation. I went to the other dealer because they had an allocation already and they told me the Original Prod Decade. Nobody else had claimed it yet so my order became the order that was already in queue (the Original Prod Decade). Soon thereafter, the Decade Planned was filled in ... and then it slipped several times (chip shortage, Covid, etc.)
It is my belief (others may correct me) that if they cannot give you the Original Prod Decade then you waiting for a corporate allocation to your dealership. ... ie: back-ordered.
I repeat ... I am not an expert and I read a lot of posts here from folks that clearly know more than me, so this might all be grossly wrong ... but what I have written above does match my personal (one time) experience.
P.S. I am in the US.

Ordered in mid-Feb, they had one of their 5 allocated models for the 43 coupe that was not design frozen. Delivery scheduled for April 30, considered myself seriously lucky to get it this quick with all the stuff going on.
Passed by the dealer today, and saw a pretty blue coupe. Took a very close look ... pretty darn sure it was mine ?!?! Emailed my sales guy, he says sorry it is the sales managers demo. I was crushed. Sends me an order report of some kind from the factory, my delivery date is now pushed to mid-July. Then I was really crushed, as I sold my car a month ago!
An hour later he calls and says he was mistaken, the sales manager had an SUV model. We compare the specs, and the car in the lot is EXACTLY the same as my build. Exactly. Insane. So I pick it up Monday!
Some little *****y kid inside of me is annoyed that there will be an identical model in the city, but he'll get over it
I told him having a twin can be fun, maybe we can hang out. I could share that as I get older I'm learning to savor the anticipation of something good, its part of the experience. I know, not much consolation for you folks.
