GLC 43 2018 - overheating light comes on
I stop for a few minutes, and usually the problem disappears.
I have noticed the radiator fan is almost always on (and noisy, the usual complaint of MB owners based on the forum), unless I go downhill or on the flat. I live in the Caribbean, on a small island with steep roads, where it is difficult to go past 40 mph. My average speed on the computer since I started using the car is only 12 mph.
Local mechanic checked the computer messages - nothing out of the ordinary.
Any comments?

If you don’t find any water on the ground, then something is obviously not leaking badly, aka the Rad, hoses or the fittings so that is one factor to tick off the list should that be the case. If you can’t see any water residue on the undertray and or surrounding parts then that should rule out any micro leaks to a degree.
Sorry if that’s no help.
