Front differential oil leak

Front differential oil leak
Hi guys,
just came back from the service shop and I have been warned that front differential is leaking. Car is 4y old, 40k on the ODO.
Not sure how serious it is or how long it's been this way. They filled it up and told me I should come for repair/reseal - seems not an easy one, will take at least +-15hours of work (bottom part of the engine need to be taken out) to reach the differential part.
Been quoted cca 2,5k USD to get it done.
What to do now, should I get it fixed immediatelly or should I drive it normally as I did until now and wait till some strange noises will pop up ? I Or it will be too late and parts will be damaged ?
I assume there is not any red warning light on dashboard connected to level of oil in front/back differential, or is ?
Until now, I did not notice any issue or noise. I never found even single drop of oil below the car. Car drives normally, no strange sounds or etc.
