My OEM rims looked great but after a few years of curb rash, and a run-in with an idiotic bike lane "guard" that bent the #&*$# out of one of them, I decided to treat myself to new wheels. I wanted something different, and the AGL45s caught my eye. I've always liked wheels with noticeable lip, which hasn't really been in style since the 2000s, but I do what I want. This wheel style is designed more for a Rolls-Royce but I think it works on a Mercedes also (the Maybach GLS has wheels like this too). I ordered these from a local shop and they took about 7 weeks to custom-make. They are two-piece, glossy lip but satin spokes. They weren't cheap but they aren't $10k+ like those monoblock wallet-busters lots of people get that don't really look unique anymore.
