GLC43 AC Compressor
2018 GLC43 AC compressor clutch decided to fail today. No air conditioning at all now… The seal on the front failed and some grease? started to leak out. Anyone have experience with this? Can just the clutch be replaced or am I looking at the complete compressor?
Thanks in advance.

Update
Appears I may the trailblazer for this on this platform. The local MB dealer service diagnosis revealed that the AC Compressor clutch failed. MB service does not replace the clutch without replacing the complete AC Compressor so the parts were ordered and hopefully will be completed by mid-week. The AC system will be recharged and inspected with the compressor replacement.
Estimating that the total cost for replacing the AC Compressor is going to be $3028.00.
I am too new to the area and unaware of any independent MB repair shops or AC service shops or I would have advised with those potential options.
This will bring the 2022 repairs and associated costs to over $6000.00. I am giving serious thought to selling it or trading it in for something else.

Call Mercedes Corporate and explain the situation. You have nothing to lose. I had the same situation where the water pump blew on my 2013 Audi S4 just after the 50,000 mile mark and Audi Corporate plus the dealer almost covered the whole bill. They want your future business, it's in their interest to help.
