2022 GLC 43 - Check Engine after only 1,000 miles
Reaching out to see if anyone else is having similar problems, or has any advice. The light came on after only having the car for a month and it is now at the dealer in Los Angeles. They say that after diagnostics, 2 cylinders are not firing properly, and that it might need new fuel injectors(?) However the way they said it makes me feel less than confident in their diagnosis... and that they are still trying to figure it out. They have now had the car for almost 2 weeks... and the issue seems (at lest to me) low on their list of priorities.
Has anyone else experienced something like this? Is this a known issue with these cars... is the GLC 43 prone to frequent mechanical issues?
Wondering if there's some way to contact the factory, as the local dealer does not seem that responsive.
My faith in the brand and my purchase is rapidly declining, and I'm starting to research Lemon Laws in the state of California.
Anyone out there have any thoughts or advice?
As for your dealer, well, yeah look up your Kali Lemon Laws and know them well before you go down that road if you were too. Hopefully they'll get it fixed and you can enjoy the car. I am very happy with mine, hopefully you'll be loving yours soon.

Really grateful for the replies... puts it all in perspective a bit.
All makes sense, and yes, I'm sure it's been tough for all involved. Took us over a year to get the car so imagine there's some pressure all around.
Eventually they did a bunch of tests and could not recreate the problem (which is a little unsettling) but after 2 weeks I got the car back, and so far so good!
No charge of course, and they did give a loaner. I called Mercedes directly which may have helped expedite.
Hope this episode fades into memory and I can simply enjoy this truly amazing machine!
Will update here if there are any other issues so others can compare notes
AND of course if there's anything else that's more positive and helpful will share that as well.
Thanks again!
