Sherlock OBD protector
Has anybody used a Sherlock OBD protector to prevent the car from being stolen?
I came across this device made in Germany and sold in Canada by Sherlock company.
My concern is that it is bolted right into the OBD plastic port with 2 steel keyed bolts.
Will the port crack when installing the protector and make the diagnostic port unusable?
The exorbitant price of $200 CDN is another problem.

Can anybody recommend OBD cover/protector that worked well for them?
Here I found a video with a clear explanation of how cars are being stolen using your car keyfob.

Hi.
I wouldn't go for this ugly and physically dommageable hardware.
I use this obd blocker on my glc43.

It is in french but Google can translate it.
You can also buy simple parts for 10$ and invert the obd cables yourself.
What you should know is where are the + and - and don t invert them as if your workshop tries to read via obd without your dongle it will burn the ecu.
